Decoy

Lucas Von Zuben - lucas.zuben@decoysmart.com

Decoy is an AgTech startup developing innovative technologies for sustainable farming. We are transforming pest management in the animal health industry through biological control, aiming to reduce chemical dependency while promoting safe food production and animal welfare. We offer biological solutions designed to control cattle tick infestations. Our treatment targets the pest both on the animal and within their environment. Cattle ticks are parasites that cause significant harm by feeding on blood, leading to reduced weight gain, lower milk production, and poor leather quality. Furthermore, they are vectors for fatal diseases. Tick infestations have a massive economic impact on the livestock industry and are responsible for over US$ 3 billion in annual losses in Brazil alone.

Ecobiotech

Thais Maester - thaismaester@ecobiotech.com.br

Ecobiotech is advancing the field of sustainable agriculture through Sequoia, a specialized line of inputs developed through strategic technical partnerships. Our approach focuses on the integration of biological solutions, centered on the use of biochar with immobilized microorganisms. This stable carbon matrix improves soil structure and water retention, providing a functional environment for beneficial microbial populations to thrive. Because biochar remains stable for centuries, this process serves as a reliable method for long-term carbon sequestration, offering a tangible pathway for the generation of carbon credits within the agricultural supply chain. Complementing this platform, our pyroligneous extract serves as a biostimulant rich in organic compounds, designed to enhance fertilizer efficiency and support the reduction of synthetic chemical use. This integrated system converts agricultural residues into scalable bio-inputs, allowing producers to mitigate soil degradation while documenting environmental gains through enhanced soil bioactivity. Through ongoing R&D in specialized formulations, Ecobiotech provides technical solutions that align economic productivity with the rigorous standards of regenerative agriculture and global decarbonization goals.

Hope Kphé

Gustavo Valio - valio.gustavo@hopekphe.com

All grains produced worldwide are traditionally classified manually. This evaluation determines both the price and the quality of grain processing. In the case of coffee, classification must be carried out every 600 kg at the farm, during processing in warehouses, prior to export, and upon arrival at the importer. Hope has developed an innovative system—combining image-capturing equipment and proprietary software—that transforms this manual classification into a digital process available 24/7. The system requires only four hours of training to operate, compared to years of training for manual classification. As a result, the process becomes faster (5 minutes with the system versus more than 20 minutes manually), objective, consistent, and free from human subjectivity such as mood, fatigue, or variations in lighting. Additionally, each classified batch generates a unique visual fingerprint, enabling future review whenever necessary. Our system operates in two distinct ways: On-site deployment – The company owns the equipment and software, performing classification directly at the location. Online platform – One party, such as a warehouse, uploads an image of the sample to the platform, while another party, such as the importer, performs the classification remotely, validating the product without interference.
